Born in Tel Aviv, Yuval began playing the trumpet at age twelve. After serving in the Israel Defense Forces Army Band, he proceeded to study at Tel Aviv University, where he graduated magna cum laude and subsequently received his master’s degree at the Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Throughout his studies, Yuval was a recipient of various scholarships and awards. Upon his return to Israel in 2008, he served as Principal Trumpet in the Israel Kibbutz Orchestra and the Israel Camerata Jerusalem and joined the Israel Brass Quintet.

Yuval has appeared as a soloist with most Israeli orchestras, including chamber, jazz, contemporary and baroque ensembles, radio broadcasts, and television shows. From 2005 to 2013, he participated in the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, under Maestro Daniel Barenboim.

Yuval joined the IPO trumpet section in October 2013.
