Rashelly Davis was born in Israel in 1960. She graduated from the Thelma Yellin High School for the Arts as a violin major and started playing the clarinet during her service in the Israel Defense Forces Orchestra. After her army service, she studied at Tel Aviv University with Richard Lesser, former Principal Clarinetist of the Israel Philharmonic, and furthered her studies in Chicago.

Rashelly Davis joined the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in 1989, after playing in the Israel Sinfonietta Beer Sheva and the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion.

She performs with many chamber groups both in Israel and abroad and appeared as a soloist with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
