Born in Jerusalem, where he began his musical education playing flute and guitar under the guidance of Naomi Miron. At the age of 13, he began bassoon studies with Professor Jimmy Reynolds and continued with Richard Paley. Later he studied with Walter Maroz and Mordechai Rechtman as part of the Academy of Music at Tel Aviv University. He also studied with Professor Klaus Tonman in Germany during his studies at the Hanover High School of Music.

He has been awarded the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship and participated in the prominent activities in musical education in Israel such as Matan, the Young Philharmonic Orchestra, the Jerusalem Music Center and more.

He was the first player in the Israeli Symphony Orchestra and the Israeli Camerata Jerusalem, with which he also performed as a soloist. He has played with many orchestras in Israel and Europe, at many festivals, recordings and chamber concerts.

Today he plays in the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, a teacher at the Buchman-Mehta School of Music and a member of the chamber ensemble “The New Israeli Ensemble
