Boaz Meirovitch was born in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1972. He earned a bachelor’s degree at Tel Aviv University and an Artist Diploma at Indiana University Bloomington. He received a master’s degree from Boston University as a student of Jaques Zoon, who influenced his personal music style. His career was launched by winning first prize at various music competitions, including the James Pappoutsakis International Competition in Boston in 1999.

Boaz joined the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in 1999. He has performed as a soloist with the IPO and the Boston Symphony Orchestra, as well as at a solo recital at Carnegie Hall.
A renowned teacher, Boaz taught at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv University and currently teaches at the Tel Aviv Conservatory and at Levinsky College.

Boaz gives select masterclasses with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.

Due to his inspiration and uniqueness of musical interpretation, many former students are currently members of International orchestras and universities.
