In honor of Israel’s 78th Independence Day celebration, we are delighted to share with you this Israel Philharmonic concert from the archives. Watch Zubin Mehta conduct the IPO with soloist Isaac Stern from the 30th Independence Day celebrations of 1978. The performance includes Paul Ben-Haim’s “Fanfare to Israel,” and Tchaikovsky’s beloved 1812 Overture.
