Israel Philharmonic’s Florida Concerts Cancelled Due to Hurricane Nicole; Orchestra Dedicates Cleveland Rehearsal Performance to Floridians’ Safety and Wellbeing
Due to a hurricane warning, both the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami have announced that their Israel Philharmonic performances are cancelled. The performances were to take place on Nov. 9 and 10, respectively.
The American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic has issued the following statement:
We are saddened that on this historic tour – the Philharmonic’s first in three years and its inaugural tour under new Music Director Lahav Shani – we will not be able to perform as planned for audiences in Florida. Our thoughts are with everyone in Nicole’s path and hope to share music with you, live, again soon.
