American Friends of the Israel Philharmonic plays a crucial role in supporting the Israel Philharmonic, thanks to the generosity of our community of donors. Your gift goes directly towards supporting the mission of the IPO and their vital work in Israel and across the globe.
AFIPO donors come from 39 states across the country and provide millions of dollars of funding to the Israel Philharmonic each year. When you give to AFIPO, you join an American community of thought leaders and a long philanthropic tradition for support for Israel. Supporters of the Israel Philharmonic—and past honorees at our galas—include Lorraine Schwartz, Nili Lotan & David Broza, Frank Gehry, Helgard Field-Lion, Camille & Arnon Adar, Stanley Silverman, and Daniel Libeskind.
Key areas of funding include general operational support, support for the IPO’s educational programs Sulamot and KeyNote, US-based programming and tours, and special projects and capital campaigns, such as the Charles Bronfman Auditorium in Tel Aviv.
AFIPO’s greatest impact is in providing operational support for the orchestra, an invaluable resource for the Israel Philharmonic. Operational support ensures that the orchestra continues to fulfill its mission for years to come.
