ABOUT THE AMERICAN FRIENDS OF THE ISRAEL PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA

Founded 81 years ago during the holocaust to save the lives of Europe’s Jewish musicians, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra proudly serves as Israel’s preeminent cultural ambassador. We’re a non-partisan, non-religious organization that raises funds in the United States to sustain the Israel Philharmonic’s standing as a world-class orchestra and provides vital support for their international tours and music education programs.
