2015 is off to a busy start! This quarter we have held diverse events across the country from New York to Los Angeles to Palm Beach.
Chamber Music Recital
Our annual Palm Beach event was held on March 12 in a beautiful private home. The evening featured a gourmet dinner followed by a performance by the innovative Shuffle Concert. Guests were given a numbered menu filled with masterpieces in every possible musical style; if their number was selected, they got to choose which piece was performed next – creating a unique and interactive experience for all! Family Music Day
On Sunday, March 1, Los Angeles held its first annual Family Music Day at the Pacific Design Center featuring the Shuffle Concert. With over 175 guests of all ages, this wonderful event exposed children to classical music and allowed them to see and hear the instruments up close. The fun filled day gave our new friends of the IPO a better understanding of the importance of music education in Israel.
Stretches and Strings
On a chilly evening in February a group of Young Patrons gathered together at Atamananda Yoga Sequence in downtown New York City for a unique experience—classical music yoga! Attendees wound down the day with a relaxing Vinyasa class to the sounds of the Washington Square String Quartet. Afterwards they mingled while sipping refreshing green juice.
